“We actually have three longer-term projects in development that we’re doing,” Todd Howard said and noting that they plan to “talk about them at a later date.” at DICE Summit 2016. He remained tight-lipped as to what these new projects could possibly be, and now I’m interested in what it could possibly be.
I have some ideas to what could it be. And I hope we learn more at E3 2016.
We have to look at the big picture here, one of those three titles has to be The Elder Scrolls 6, and I believe it will be radically different then Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim combined . It has to be The Elder Scrolls 6 because we haven’t had a single-player Elder Scrolls title in almost 6 years, and it’s time for another single-player Elder Scrolls and one of those other two, either has to be a new IP and let’s go far out here; a Fallout 5.
I am guessing that Fallout 5 is real early in-development, to the point that it isn’t even a thing, just an outline for now and the other one has to be a Space videogame that was rumored to be in development in 2013. The title was called Void but it was trademarked as The Void Engine which made me believe that this new engine will power The Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout 5, and this possible Space RPG as we know that Bethesda Game Studios wanted to get rid of the GameBryo Engine that they’ve been with ever since The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and was rebranded and retooled for Skyrim and Fallout 4. Now, what are we going to expect at E3:
I hope what are we going to see is either going to be this Space RPG or something else entirely that isn’t Elder Scrolls 6 because all of us thinks it’s too early to release Elder Scrolls 6 because we just got Fallout 4 but I hope it’s this new IP.
What do you want to see at Bethesda’s E3 2016 Conference on June 12th? Let me know in the comments! Tune in on June 12th at 7:00 PM ( PT.) and 10:00 PM ET.
