Ubisoft appeared at E3 2018 with a boatload of announcements in long running franchises, from Assassin’s Creed to Just Dance. We also recieved updates on For Honor, Skull & Bones, and Rabbids.
Here is some of the big announcements that I found interesting. The conference itself was okay at best, it’s Ubisoft so you already know what you’re going to get from them at E3. Anyways, let’s hope into some of the big announcements:
The return of Assassin’s Creed
Last month, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey was leaked by JeuxVideo and then it turned out to be official. Odyssey is the next game in the series and will take place 400 years before the adventures of Bayek begins in Origins. We’ll assume the role of either Alexios or Kassandra in a massive open world with a stronger element of RPG mechanics including romance options.
The Division 2 will have Raids
The Division 2 is headed to Washington D.C for a new story that is set a number of years after the outbreak began in Manhattan during the original game. The Division 2 will also have raids, 8 player raids, which will be released as a free expansion.
Beyond Good & Evil 2
Lastly, Beyond Good & Evil 2 received a new trailer.
In this new trailer, Jade returns from the original game and that was mostly it but it showed a bit more of what the game could be about.
And this does it for the E3 press conferences reviews. Stay tuned for trailer breakdowns and much more including my hands on impressions with Battlefield V, Assassin’s Creed, and more.
