Letters from the Front

Here is my first quality of life post, yikes.

I know this is a weird piece but this particular topic as been on my mind for a couple of months. I’ve just been waiting to write it.

For the past couple of days, I’ve been thinking on ways on how to improve the site and I’ve begun to branch out a bit with the discussions and the report articles which details all the latest news from the gaming industry while still doing first impressions, reviews, and a bit of opinion pieces but here’s the catch: I would like some feedback from you guys. What would you like to see more of? More news? More reviews? More features like this article here ? Or a push towards more historical-centric pieces or more movie reviews?

I’m trying to expand the site into something more, to at least include a bit of everything, while still retaining the topic of gaming and I would love to hear your thoughts on the content that you would like to see more of. It’s been a bit of ride since I began the site since 2015 and the same content tends to get stale for a while so I think it’s best to try to go further and experiment a bit and see what works and what doesn’t, there’s nothing wrong with a bit of experimentation.

Of course, if you think everything is fine and nothing needs a rework or something like that then express your thoughts down below in the comments. I’m just looking for some feedback.

  1. Some reviews of smaller/indie games might be interesting!

Yes! I’ve been meaning to get through to some of the indie games. I just completed Perception and Tacoma!

      1. Perception is one I was interested in. I intended to back it on Kickstarter but my PC at the time wouldn’t have managed to run it.

      2. Physics says:

Perception was really good, it was developed by the same team that created the original BioShock, at least two of the original members. I will do a review some time this week as long as my Vampyr First Impressions that I’ve been meaning to finish, lol.

  2. I like what you’re doing! I think the most important thing about blogging is that the blogger enjoys writing the content for their site 🙂

Ah, thank you! That means alot! That is definitely true, I actually like the way things are but I think need to branch out a bit more; include a bit more indie game reviews. I love the historical pieces though that you often see, those pieces often take me quite a bit of hours to finish as I have to find every piece of detail that is relevant.

      Thank you again!
