Letters from the Front

Greetings and Salutations,

2018 was a very big year for me. It was a year of superb growth, not only for myself but for the blog itself where I did some things that I wanted to do for quite a long time. Branched out of the usual and did some unique things like pushed out some historical stuff  and did some other things in my personal life.

I am ready to take another big jump in my personal life and on the site. I’ve already set some of these things in motion and is already currently being worked on behind the scenes. I’m really pushing myself forward here in the next coming months, a lot of pieces are coming together and I hope that the site takes big leaps and bounds forward as we enter the latter half of the year and into the next generation.

If you’ve been here for a while and supported me in this great and unusual journey that I never saw myself go on in the first place, I just want to say thank you and its with your help that I can finetune things and change things around. With things heading as fast as they are, I wanted to do a name change for the site and I’ve been looking at different names, hoping I don’t step onto any toes here and have any legal issues and I decided to settle on the name of Overpowered AF, or simply OPAF , a term that I found out meant very different things on the internet. I’ve been working on this name for quite a while, looking for something to settle on since Galaxy was a name that I didn’t really like and it didn’t really signify the nature of the blog itself. Galaxy doesn’t really signify *video games* now, does it? Overpowered AF is basically multiplayer lingo in which something is quite overpowered and needs a nerf. This change will go into effect tomorrow morning, I hope you understand and will continue to come on this journey with me despite a change in name.

This year is going to bring a lot of good things for the site and hopefully, the content that I have lined up will hopefully entertain, inform, and is content that you can learn something from. It is a big step forward and I hope this coming year will see the site grow in bigger ways than one and on top, I hope I can make this into a full-time thing going forward ( Is there even such a thing as a full-time blogger?) and it is hopefully a goal that I can make happen since this is something that I really enjoy doing and want to do more of.

Thank you for everything and we will talk again real soon,

Cheers,

DJ.
